Well, lots of prep this AM, better get going...

"This Week's Special Fare"

Soups
Fall like weather, football...time for Barking Dog Chili. A customer favorite...and you know who you are, slow simmered for hours (uh, the chili, not the customer) with our own blend of seasonings and just a kick of heat, our Barking Dog Chili is served with Oyster Crackers and topped with diced Red Onion and shredded Cheddar Cheese.

And as always, we have our award-winning Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder served with Oyster Crackers...by the cup or bowl and perfect no matter what the weather or the sport.

Daily Specials
I've been thinking about this Burger for a while...a Beer Cheese Burger with Bacon! Our "thin & crispy on the edges" Burger on a buttered and toasted Bun topped with a New Castle Ale Beer Cheese Sauce, Nueske Bacon, a thin slice of homegrown Green Tomato and topped off with crispy Onions! Beef, Bacon, Beer and Cheese...that works!

And as always, we're featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam. All sandwiches are served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles.

And lastly and certainly not least, Mary Beth's "Life's a Beach", features Goat Cheese, Red Onion, Tomato Jam, Avocado, Sprouts and Cucumber, served on buttered and toasted Multi-Grain Bread. Or if you prefer, for a little extra, add a couple slices of "Bark Lard".

Entree Salads
We've done a Nicoise Salad before, but this week we're mixing it up a bit. Our Deconstructed Nicoise Salad features young Haricot Vert, Olive Oil Roasted Baby Potatoes, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and chunks of Albacore Tuna lightly dressed with a Green Olive Vinaigrette and finished with fresh Parsley and Lemon.

And we also continue with our Barking Dog's "Tee Pee" Salad. That iconic Tee Pee Dressing tossed with Iceberg Lettuce and topped with julienned Beets and homemade Croutons served in wooden bowls...a true classic!

Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
