Well, got to be short this a.m....there's food to cook.

"This Week's Special Fare"

Going back through our soup repertoire this weekend, realized I haven't made this one in quite a while...French Mushroom Bisque. A blend of Mushrooms sauteed in Butter (of course), deglazed with Sherry (thanks Sherry), then finished with homemade Stock, Cream and pureed velvety smooth.

And as always, we feature our Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder, always at the top of the list and perfect on a chilly snowy day.

Daily Specials
We've done BLT's in many forms including our "DDD" version for the Food Network...but can we make it better? Start with buttered and toasted Brioche, Tomato Jam, crispy Bacon and Lettuce topped with Fried Oysters and a drizzle of roasted Garlic Aioli and served with organic Greens tossed with a Dijon Vinaigrette.

And as always, we're featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam. All sandwiches are served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles.

And lastly and certainly not least, Mary Beth's "Life's a Beach", features Goat Cheese, Red Onion, Tomato Jam, Avocado, Sprouts and Cucumber, served on buttered and toasted Multi-Grain Bread. Or if you prefer, for a little extra, add a couple slices of "Bark Lard".

Entree Salads
Sticking with the tried and true this week. Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.

And we also continue with our Barking Dog's "Tee Pee" Salad. That iconic Tee Pee Dressing tossed with Iceberg Lettuce and topped with julienned Beets and homemade Croutons served in wooden bowls...a true classic!
