Well, as I've gotten older I've noticed a few signs of aging. When I get out of bed in the morning, things ache that didn't ache when I was younger. Instead of getting 4 hours of sleep a night, I now need 4 1/2. I had to cut back from a 14 hour day on the line to a 13 hour day. And the final sign?...instead of using the internet for porn, I use it to search for glucose metering strips...oooooo, check out the free shipping on this one!...nice.

"This Week's Special Fare"

Soups
Mary Beth and Dad's tomatoes are just beginning to ripen. (check out the photo on our Facebook page) So taking advantage of the bounty, our featured soup this week is a Homegrown Tomato Soup. Simple flavorful ingredients with a combination of Brandywine, Beefsteak, Golden, Delicious, San Marzano, and several different Cherry Tomatoes. All started from seeds, all from their garden. The soup is finished with homemade croutons, shaved Parm, Basil (from the garden of course) and a drizzle of EVOO.

And as always, we have our award-winning Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder...can't miss with the real thing.

Daily Specials
The Daily Special this week is a customer favorite, and you know who you are, a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Fresh, Chicken Breasts lightly seasoned and breaded, fried to a golden brown and topped with Jeff's Buffalo Sauce with a nice kick of heat, on a toasted roll with shredded Lettuce and finished with our own made from scratch, and several other ingredients, Blue Cheese Dressing.

And as always, we're featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam. All sandwiches are served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles.

And lastly and certainly not least, Mary Beth's "Life's a Beach", features Goat Cheese, Red Onion, Tomato Jam, Avocado, Sprouts and Cucumber, served on buttered and toasted Multi-Grain Bread. Or if you prefer, for a little extra, add a couple slices of "Bark Lard".

Entree Salads
Barking Dog Spinach Salad. Fresh organic baby Spinach, Bacon (a must have), switching out the sun-dried for fresh from the gardenTomatoes, charred Red Onions, toasted Walnuts and crumbled Blue Cheese served with Mary Beth's homemade French Dressing...sounds good.

And we also continue with our Barking Dog's "Tee Pee" Salad. That iconic Tee Pee Dressing tossed with Iceberg Lettuce and topped with julienned Beets and homemade Croutons served in wooden bowls...a true classic!

Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
