Soup of the Day
Spicy Black Bean Soup starts things off this week. We start with Black Beans, Tomatoes and Chiles to form the base. Simmered in homemade Chicken Stock with hints of Garlic, Cumin and Cilantro. Garnished with shredded Cheese and served with Oyster Crackers...sounds good.
And as always, we have our award-winning Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder, made daily with sweet tender Clams, Cream and Butter and served with Vermont Oyster Crackers...perfect to-go or enjoy a cup or bowl at the 'Dog while you catch up on the latest neighborhood news.
A Barking Dog Club Sandwich is the Daily Special, triple-stacked featuring slices of Myer's Ham, Turkey, Lettuce, roasted Herb Tomatoes, crisp "Bark Lard", our own house-cured Bacon, Swiss and American Cheese, don't want to discriminate, then finished with a sweet roasted Garlic Mayo.
Our second Special offering this week, we're featuring our "Bark Lard" BLT as did Food Network's "Triple D"! Thick slices of our own in-house cured Bacon, fresh Lettuce and Jeff's homemade Tomato Jam.
Mary Beth's "Life' a Beach" Sandwich! Featuring Capriole Goat Cheese, Red Onion, roasted Tomatoes, Avocado, Cucumber and Sprouts served on buttered and toasted Multi-Grain Bread. Or if you prefer, for a little extra, add a couple slices of "Bark Lard". Both sandwiches are served with your choice of MB's Cole Slaw or Chips and Overnight Pickles.
Entree Salads The first of or two Entree Salad offerings this week is a Beet Wedge Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing. Wedges of fresh Romaine garnished with roasted Beets, Red Onion, toasted Walnuts and finished with homemade Blue Cheese Dressing.
Mary Beth's Salad, our featured House Salad starts with organic Field Greens topped with fresh Oranges, Apples, dried Cranberries, Red Onion, spicy sweet Pecans and a dusting of Blue Cheese. A homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and toasted Baguette are served on the side.
